Pat Buchanan: Norwegian Right-Wing Terrorist ‘Breivik May Be Right’

The above was written by Pat Buchanan, former presidential candidate and conservative figurehead. Can you imagine if someone on the left said anything even approaching “Bin Laden may be right”, regardless of context? The media storm would be overwhelming. Even making a case against American interventionism after 9/11 was seen as treasonous: the mere suggestion that war was not a desirable outcome was enough to end the careers of musicians. How treacherous do people like this have to get before we start treating them like the ultra-nationalist fascists they are?
