About

The Plutocrat - Kahlil Gibran

In my wanderings I once saw upon an island a man-headed, iron-hoofed monster who ate of the earth and drank of the sea incessantly. And for a long while I watched him.

Then I approached him and said, “Have you never enough; is your hunger never satisfied and your thirst never quenched?”

And he answered saying, “Yes, I am satisfied, nay, I am weary of eating and drinking; but I am afraid that tomorrow there will be no more earth to eat and no more sea to drink.”

If you look at the news media, there is a lot more “acceptable right” than “acceptable left.” This is sad.

The Green Party is barely even “acceptable” honestly/sadly.
Shit, even parts of the democratic party isn’t even “acceptable.”

No wonder other democrats hate me, oh well.

I feel like many media outlets would put Al Jazeera in the unacceptable far left category.

a Democratic Socialist is not even remotely near a U.S.A. liberal on the political spectrum -.- and it’s funny because CPUSA’s leadership are U.S. Liberal puppets, but this is the propaganda version, not an actual political spectrum lol(which is the only reason anything in the “acceptable left” is even on the left in this, with the exception of the Green Party which is actually leftist)

There is no “Democratic Socialist Party.” It’s just the Socialist Party, which is a democratic socialist party.

I wouldn’t even call the Libertarian party more centrist than the Republican party. Their platform of throw the poor out on the streets and have them fend for themselves is more akin to the are of the graph closer to the Constitution party. Remember, fascism is still fascism whether you are bowing to your presidents whim or your bosses whim.
And I would hardly even consider the chickenshit people at CNN and the New York Times to even represent American “Acceptable Left”, they’re more centrist outlets.

Agreed, and echoing the sentiments of others: this amateurish chart is itself a sign of how skewed and distorted the US perspective has become. The real neoliberal propaganda of the establishment has us thinking that the Democratic Party is anything beyond centerism - that all the major media outlets mentioned under “acceptable left” is anything besides corporatist teletype which largely echoes the views of the government and frames popular discussion in an acceptable manner so that it largely conforms to the goals of the administration. I’m sorry, but this chart itself is propaganda, in that it reinforces the warped spectrum of American politics - which largely rests its capitalist ass in the center or dances off into the right.
